Howdy “New” Financial Wizards!

And welcome to Free Lunch Investing, the monthly newsletter that gives you the passive investing insights you need as a busy professional. Created for and by, Canadian investors.

Why this newsletter?

There’s a stigma against DIY investing because it’s associated with taking risks and that you should be working with a financial advisor or directly with your bank.

And on the other end of the spectrum, there’s active investors or day trader that spend their valuable time trying to make money.

I believe that busy professionals like you and I, should benefit from passive investing without having to spend more than an hour on investing every month.

This is why I started Free Lunch Investing, to educate busy Canadian professionals on passive investing so we can have achieve our financial goals, as crazy as they might be.

What to expect?

This newsletter has three parts:

  1. Investing/finance terms to know

  2. A step-by-step guide on how to achieve a specific investing strategy or action.

  3. Stocks on my watchlist

It’s not more complicated than that.

Why Free Lunch Investing as a title?

In investing terms, a free lunch is usually a profit without risks.

However, a free lunch doesn’t really exist in investing. The only free lunch is diversification and this is the mindset I have when investing in the stock market.

Who am I?

I’m Gabriel Bujold - I write content about personal finances and investing to educate Canadians about money.

I’m also the Co-Founder of Allswealth, a financial planning software and I’m an experienced marketer specialized in B2B SaaS.

I started investing four years ago and I’ve been a self-directed investor since January 2022. With my knowledge of investing and business, I will make you 1% smarter on passive investing every month (An improvement of 12% per year is a pretty good deal for a free newsletter, don’t you think?)

If you have any questions or if you just want to say hi, please don’t be shy.
